Shopify will now allow merchants to mint and sell NFT’s on their store front via the GigLabs NFT App. The program is currently in beta and only available to US based Shopify Plus retailers. NFT’s minted will be on the Flow blockchain and you will be able to do airdrops, memberships, content-gating, and COA’s (Certificate of authenticity). You can sign up for the beta here.
“The next evolution for eCommerce is NFTs, and the GigLabs NFT App in the Shopify App Store allows select businesses to quickly and easily offer NFTs to their consumers. We partnered with BreakingT and Infinite Objects as early adopters to help spec out and test our app, and now both companies are able to seamlessly integrate NFTs within their existing Shopify stores as our first customers.” said GigLabs Chief Product Officer and Co-founder Brian Burns.
